Us
Bipolar Technologies Corporation was founded in 1992 to develop innovative battery technologies. Our headquarters are located in Provo, Utah, with a research/ engineering facility located nearby in Orem, Utah. Over the years we have earned a reputation for highly innovative battery engineering, and the ability work collaboratively with teams from other organizations, such as U.S. government, universities, and corporations such as General Motors and Maxwell Laboratories.
Our microscopic batteries have been under development since 1997. The work has been largely financed through government research contracts, from the US Air Force, Army, Navy,MDA, DARPA, and NASA. Bipolar Technologies holds a fundamental patent in the area of microfabrication of batteries, with numerous other patents in application, both U.S. and foreign.
